2009 Client Satisfaction Survey Results

  • In March 2009, 25% of randomly selected clients from Hamilton, the GTA, Belleville and Kingston were sent a Client Satisfaction Survey.

  • 36% of those clients surveyed responded and provided us with useful feedback.

  • 98% of clients responded that they are satisfied with the Overall Quality of Services they Receive.

  • 93% of clients responded that they would Recommend CanCare Health Services to a Friend or Family Member.

 

CanCare receives 3rd accreditation

In April, 2006, CanCare Health Services Inc. was fully accredited. This is CanCare's third successful accreditation demonstrating their high quality service and commitment to excellent care. CanCare thanks all clients, employees and community partners that participated in the accreditation process.

CCHSA (Canadian Council on Accreditation Services) recognized CanCare for a leading practice from the 2006 survey. CanCare was commended for their telephony program and will be recognized on the CCHSA website and other written materials for this leading practice. Information cited by CCHSA included, "Clients seem to be reassured that there is a connection between the agency and the care being provided in their homes. Clients can also observe that staff keep to a schedule. Clients therefore get a better sense that they are receiving the service required". This information will be shared with organizations across Ontario as being "leading edge" and an area to be exemplified.
