Best Practice Spotlight Organizations (BPSO) are health-care organizations selected by the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO) to implement, evaluate and share lessons learned from their Best Practice Guideline experiences and research findings. The partnership is dynamic and long term, focusing on making a positive impact on client care.
CanCare Health Services was selected in March, 2009 as a Best Practice Spotlight candidate and we are working to complete a three-year partnership with RNAO. After the three-year mark, we will “graduate” to become a BPSO and will continue our commitment to implement, evaluate and disseminate Best Practice Guidelines to ensure the highest quality of care to our clients.

We dedicate ourselves to providing quality services and meeting or exceeding industry standards. We collect data within our organization to measure our performance and to ensure we make decisions that are based on evidence. For example, we conduct annual client satisfaction surveys and use the results to make improvements in service delivery and client satisfaction.
We never shy away from standards and data that is available, instead we measure ourselves against the standards and information and ensure we are leaders in meeting or exceeding standards and benchmarks.
